Before I get to the Crochet Along, I have to point this out...Check out the last two sentences... One week after that, 5 inches of snow. LOL
Back tot he Crochet Along. Check out my Part 1 here
I am running a little behind, so I didn't completely finish both sides. but I am close. Once I got the hang of it, it worked up pretty fast. I will admit though, I had to start over once or twice (I should have watched the video).
I decided to make both sides of the pillow the same using the stripey yarn, mostly because I really like the way it looks. I will add the fur around the edges.
Week 3 starts today!
I'm Linking to:
I'm loving the colors you used, it's truly lovely.
ReplyDeleteHere in Maryland, we've only received a dusting of snow. I'm diappointed, I wanted to play out in the snow with my 8 yo daughter. I'm still hoping for something, before the warm weather is here for good.
It was 66 degrees yesterday, so the snow is all gone.
DeleteI am jealous of your snow! I haven't seen a proper snow fall in 12 years and I really miss it.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern of this work. The basketweave gives it a very nice texture and your colour choice is fantastic, too!
I am so not a snow fan, but I will admitt I was starting to miss not having any....
DeleteYou did jinx it. You can't say "no snow" until April, and even then it's not safe.
ReplyDeleteI like the stripes too - perfect for both sides!
I love the basketweave with those colors!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a basket weave with changing colors. I like it. Great job! And thanks for sharing on my WIP Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteYour pillow looks great! The colors are so spring like it's making me wish it was actually spring :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks, it reminds me of Easter :)
